The High Priest and High Priestess - 72 Hour Vow of Silence

Sabbath Dais is participating in a 3 day vow of Silence. This silence can also be seen as a prayer or meditation. For 72 hours with no breaks or interruptions participants are asked to practice silence and only speak when it is necessary. If participants find it necessary to break silence, when speaking use the shortest most effective response. In other words if a response can be a simple yes or no let it be so. This does not mean alternatively write instead of speak, again if you must speak then speak but if it is not required this vow is to practice refraining from speaking. The 72 hour vow of Silence is about communicating to and through the Spirit in a higher form of communication 'spiritual communication'.

The intent of this Divine Lesson is to support participants in communicating with others and the Spirit through communication other than verbal. The power of the Spirit is strong and can be greatly experienced when you exercise non verbal communication. You may be surprised of how much more you become aware of and how much less you need to say. This lesson can also be seen as an empathic practice so, try it this month for 3 days or for longer periods of time to see optimal results. However, while being silent in verbal communication it is important to practice the communication of care and respect. Be mindful to give or show response when necessary.

This is not intended to invoke rudeness or seem insensitive so, if a task or discussion requires your reply let it be done in truth, wisdom and care. If possible try to avoid any unnecessary conversations and possibly turn off your phone or do not answer to certain topics that cause you to engage in conversation.

Practicing silence will open your mind to understanding when it is necessary to speak and when it is necessary to be silent. This may help some avoid negative communications and help to practice Spiritual communication rather than verbal communication.
